History
Early Life(Age 1-12)
Yhu was born to a family of priests and monks found on the Wandering Isle. Her mother was a Priestess of the Moon, trained from a young age with the arts of the light. Her father was a Tushui monk. Her sister, Nerim, followed her mother in the ways of the Priests. From a young age Yhu was expected to choose to become a priest, but after her parents disappeared when she was four she decided that she would become a monk who followed the ways of the Tushui. She felt that each of their parent's ways should live on.
About a year after her parent's sudden disappearance, she started to regularly go to classes in the academy. Yhu never really got along with other monk students, being to shy to interact with them except when she was forced to. Out of her class, she was always behind her first few years, not being able to do certain moves. When she reached the age of ten she decided to turn down the mistweaver path, wanting to be a monk, yet still heal people like her mother. For the next three years she continued to practice her fighting techniques and controlling the mists to heal people. Her sister graduated her class soon after Yhu's thirteenth birthday. When she arrived home that evening, Yhu did not find her sister, but a note. The first part of the note was addressed to her sister, from their parents. It said they left the Isle, although it did not say why or where to. Nerim added a section at the bottom addressed to Yhu, which said to leave the Isle too and come find her once she graduated. But she did not wait, the very next day she left the Isle, which eventually would take her to the Eastern Kingdoms.
Exploring(Age 13-19)
The first place she arrived was in the Eastern Kingdoms, or more specifically, in the Kingdom of Lordaeron. She reached the city in the year 13, and while skeptical of new races because of the last war, they let Yhu in, as she was just a child. She did not think ahead before she left the Wandering Isle, and had no idea what to do now, she had no money or supplies to even live off of. Because of this, she spent her first couple months in an orphanage, but she did not think it was bad- she met one of her lifelong friends, ???, and was able to see some of the unique culture of the Humans. Although she was not being forced to stay, she liked the orphanage, and she decided to stay there because of the sheer amount of things to see.
After about three months in the orphanage and exploring the city of Lordaeron and the surrounding area, she was invited to go live with a human family, called the Rouchs. She, of course, accepted, thinking it was another opportunity to learn about the Humans. The Rouchs had a daughter her age that she often spent her time with, named Mackenzie. She met many interesting cultures and races while living with the Rouches- including Dwarves, High Elves and Gnomes. The Gnomes fascinated her the most, with their small, tiny bodies that even her, a thirteen year old Pandaren could crush. The Rouch family included Sherry Rouch, James Rouch, Mackenzie Rouch, Blaize Rouch and the youngest of them all, Colton Rouch. She was closest with Mackenzie, often running through the woods with her, with Mackenzie showing her all sorts of creatures and plants, and in return, Yhu taught her monk fighting techniques.
One day, when the duo were traveling in the woods, they ran into Noirea, who was an elderly Dwarf. Although it was not a nice greeting, as they found her severely wounded next to a dead bear. Luckily for Noirea, Yhu trained as a Mistweaver, who used the mists to heal wounds. Although Yhu was unable to heal all her wounds, she was able to stop most of the bleeding so Noirea could return to the city. Other people she meant in her first year in the Kingdom included ????(Leper Gnome) and Anahlit, who were a gnomish couple, and a High Elf who adopted her orphanage friend. By the end of her first year in the Kingdom, she learned a great deal, more than she would have ever learned on the Isle. By now, she was able to speak low common.
-
During her second year in the city, she was often trained to better her fighting techniques by the elderly dwarf she saved, Noirea. Noirea also taught her how to use a sword instead of a staff, in case she ever was required to use it. Although Yhu did not like the idea of wielding a sword and killing someone, Noirea insisted it was vital. At the request of Yhu, Noirea even took her to visit Ironforge and teach her more about the dwarves, and their close allies the Gnomes. She stayed in Ironforge several days, taking blacksmith lessons and doing drinking challenges, even though she is only fourteen, she was able to keep up with most dwarves.
When she returned to Lordaeron, James fell fatally ill by a disease that was unknown to her. She had came to know James as a father figure and family throughout the time she lived with them, even so much as to call him dad once. She tried to help heal him, but the doctors of Lordaeron refused to let her help, so she just sat at the house with Mackenzie and the others. A few weeks later, James passed and it was hard on her, which just made her want to go back to what she left to do- find her sister and heal people. Despite Mackenzie being a sister to her, she forced herself to say goodbye and ventured city to city to see if her real sister could be in any of them. By the time she left Lordaeron, about half way through the year fourteen, she took dozens of more lessons, and although she was not completely fluent, she could understand most words, but she did not structure some sentences correctly.
The first place she attempted visited was Dalaran, home to the mages.
